An education is worth a conversation.
Our goal is to find like-minded families who deeply align with our vision and purpose.
We never want cost to be an impediment to the right family joining our community.
Please talk with us before deciding Unbound is out of reach. We offer need-based tuition assistance through a confidential application.

How tuition assistance works
Assistance is need-based and goes through our standard financial aid process. It starts with a simple conversation.
Tell us
Let us know affordability is a concern. We’ll explain the application and answer your questions privately.
Apply
After applying for admission, submit your financial information through our independent, third-party assessor.
Talk it through
We review each family’s situation and discuss any assistance we’re able to offer.
Awards depend on financial need and the resources available each year, and a specific award can’t be promised before review. Vail Valley Unbound reserves the right to allocate financial assistance at its discretion.

Everyone helps make Unbound possible.
Families who pay full tuition provide essential support for our guides, projects and daily learning. Voluntary gifts to the VVU Scholarship Fund help make tuition assistance possible for more learners. If you’re able to give beyond tuition, we welcome your support at any amount.
Giving is an invitation, never a requirement for admission or assistance.
